Prospective students

There is no aptitude or placement test for students studying English for a teaching degree or a BA in English and American Studies. We recommend that prospective students evaluate their own English language competence and suitability for these programmes on the basis of the following criteria:

– a grade of 10 points or higher in English in the German Abitur, or

– self-assessment of English language competence at level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), or
