Going abroad
For information on studying abroad please go to:
https://www.angam.phil.fau.de/information_for-students/going-abroad/
After spending time abroad, students can apply for course work to be transferred into the degree programmes at their home institution. To start this process, please contact
- Dr. Ingrid Fandrych (for applied language courses)
- Prof. Dr. Thorsten Piske (for courses in teaching pedagogy).
- Dr. Harald Zapf (for courses in English and American studies)
Please note that module grades based on portfolio assessment (for example for the Aufbaumodul Language _and _Hauptmodul Language) can only be recorded on campo once all the courses for that module have been successfully completed. Students who complete a course at another university which is to be transferred into their FAU programme as part of one of these modules should contact the module coordinators:
Aufbaumodul Language (Practical Phonetics and Speaking Skills): Dr. Ned Reif
Hauptmodul Language (Grammar & Vocabulary and Übersetzung E-D): Susanne Kollmann
Students who wish to have their attendance of practical language courses at another university recorded for transfer to the BA Thematisches Kombinationsmodul (Speaking Skills and Presentation Skills) should contact Jennifer Meister.
